JESS3 worked closely with C-SPAN to build a site to house its entire video archive on the web, including the Congressional Chronicle, which features a page for each member of Congress who has spoken on the House and Senate floors. The C-SPAN Video Library was awarded a Peabody in 2011 and a Golden Beacon Award, the Association of Cable Communicators' highest honor, in 2010. With over 23 years and 160,000 hours of footage, Mediaite hailed this effort as "arguably the most exciting academic task since the founding of Wikipedia." New York Times reporter Brian Stetler also covered the story by stating: "researchers, political satirists and partisan mudslingers, take note: C-SPAN has uploaded virtually every minute of its video archives to the Internet."
