To help raise awarness about the importance of the 2010 Census, JESS3 and Mobile Commons partnered up to create the "Census Matters" service, independently providing a tool to community groups as a public service with the support of AT&T. The finished product was an easily embeddable widget which encouraged users to spread the word to friends about the census by entering their information.
