The Blog Tree
The "award-winning":http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Word-of-Mouth-Marketing-Industry-Recognizes-Eloqua-1357021.htm content marketing duo Eloqua and JESS3 are at it again. Together, they've already tackled " The Content Grid":http://jess3.com/content-grid/, "The Social Media Playbook and company trainings":http://jess3.com/social-media-playbook-and-training/, "customer education materials":http://www.eloqua.com/grande/ and even made "A Case for Content":http://blog.jess3.com/2010/12/case-for-content-by-eloqua-and-jess3.html. And now, they bring the world the fusion of a blog list and an infographic to show the interrelationship among blogs ranging from social media and venture capital to news, PR and personal branding.
Using numbers of unique views per month for each blog, the resulting graphic, The Blog Tree, depicts the blogger structure from the roots (feeder blogs, with the most amounts of views and recognition) up through the leaves, shown in different colors to indicate the size of each blog's readership.
Not wanting to "leaf" anyone out, bloggers are invited and encouraged to add themselves to The Blog Tree by tagging the infographic on "Eloqua's Facebook account":http://www.facebook.com/eloqua, at which point they will also be provided with an official "Blog Tree" badge to display on their site.
