Harvard University tasked JESS3 with creating a two-page infographic spread for Harvard Alumni Magazine to demonstrate the school’s array of advising resources for students and alumni. JESS3 wanted to clearly convey the stages students go through in their academic experience and beyond by showing the advising process as an ever-expanding web of connections. Using color coding to present the years when tools are made available to them, the JESS3 team made a clear-cut map of students’ paths to success. Beginning with “The Yard,” students see where their agency lies, and where it expands in their following years in houses, and later on in their career growth. Encapsulating the nodes and avenues for success, JESS3’s guide is a campus map anyone would want.
