Change the Ratio Logo

The Project: After realizing that only 13 percent of Wikipedia contributors are women, 1×57 has decided to raise awareness about the issue and encourage more to contribute through its free workshop “Women Who Wiki.” The event’s organizers were looking for a killer logo and barnstar design to go along with its “Change the Ratio” campaign.

Our Methodology: Incorporating design elements from the Wikipedia globe, female symbols and a vivid “fire engine” red color fitting with Wikipedia’s BE BOLD ethos, JESS3’s team designed a selection of logos that fit the “Women Who Wiki” objectives of being iconic and strong.
