Samsung

SXSWi Social Media Hub

SXSWi is more than just another conference. Rather, it is a cultural epicenter where tomorrow’s digital and social media trends emerge. It was in this spirit that Samsung envisioned the Social Media Hub.

Designed to help connect technology enthusiasts near and far to the most engaging and relevant content, people, topics and locations, the Samsung team also did outreach to people whose content was featured.

Working closely with the Samsung team, JESS3 was proud to not only architect the site but also serve as the driving force behind research and content curation.

The End of Entrepreneurial Adolescence

Having functioned entirely under the “work-from-home” model until January of this year, we cannot speak more highly about what the physical space and proximity has done for our process, results, cohesion and inside jokes. This seems like an obvious statement to make, but as as a scrappy start-up that has been transforming into an established agency over the last two years, it is an important reflection point for us.

Ezra Klein: The Big Economic Boost of a Visit from POTUS, in One Graphic

"How much of a boost does a business get from a president’s visit? After the folks at the Washington sandwich shop Taylor Gourmet got a visit from President Obama on May 16, they decided to crunch the numbers and find out. President Obama spent exactly 15 minutes at Taylor Gourmet. That visit was enough to boost the stores’ sandwich sales by 15 percent. Orders for the Spruce Street (Obama’s hoagie of choice) jumped from 21 each day to 53 after the President’s visit. More in a very comprehensive infographic drawn up by design firm JESS3, after the jump."
