The Project: The team behind Microsoft’s Office 365 online software suite wanted to tell the story of the growth of small business through the increasing use of cloud computing. As a result, Microsoft partnered with JESS3’s expert data visualization team to create a vibrant, shareable graphic.

Our Methodology: Our strategy team worked closely with Microsoft to pinpoint the most interesting aspects of small businesses and the use of the cloud. The portrayed statistics are broken down as offices and stores sitting atop Planet Earth which represent the top cloud-friendly cities in the US, the number of small businesses in the US, their growing use of cloud-based software and, most importantly, how the cloud helps these SMBs thrive.
