JESS3 COO, Co-Founder, and President Leslie Bradshaw discusses the rise of women entrepreneurs with Ellie Cachette of The Huffington Post. One statistic sates that in the last 15 years alone women-owned businesses have increased by 54 percent, reaching over 8.3 million total in the United States. Bradshaw, a driving force behind the women business owner movement says, "Entrepreneurship is the next natural step for women. We've reached parity in higher education. We are no longer facing an overt, sexist glass ceiling in the management ranks. Now, it is time for us to launch and grow businesses."
The POLITICO's Emily Schultheis reported on Google's announcement surrounding the types of information voters are paying attention to, noting that "their findings show the extent to which Americans have moved toward online and mobile media and away from traditional TV." Schultheis added: "The post is an extension of Google's 'Four Screens to Victory' concept for campaigns, which outlines the ways voters use four screens to get their political information: TV, computer, mobile and tablet." Called “The Essential Guide to Facebook Emoticons,” The Next Web premiered JESS3’s graphic outlining how to create emoticons in Facebook messages, comments and chats. Displaying everything from Chris Putnam to a penguin, the emoticons and their keyboard shortcuts give users a wide breadth of fun options. As noted by The Next Web, JESS3’s graphic reveals the tricks of the keyboard shortcut trade to solve an “age-old problem” — expressing one’s excitement, or penguin obsession, through Facebook of course.
