Advising Infographic

Project
Harvard University tasked JESS3 with creating a two-page infographic spread for Harvard Alumni Magazine to demonstrate the school’s array of advising resources for students and alumni.

Methodology
JESS3 wanted to clearly convey the stages students go through in their academic experience and beyond by showing the advising process as an ever-expanding web of connections. Using color coding to present the years when tools are made available to them, the JESS3 team made a clear-cut map of students’ paths to success. Beginning with “The Yard,” students see where their agency lies, and where it expands in their following years in houses, and later on in their career growth. Encapsulating the nodes and avenues for success, JESS3’s guide is a campus map anyone would want.

The First Check-in from Space Happened, JESS3 Helped

As a social media adviser and creative provider to NASA through other efforts including the NASA Buzzroom, JESS3 was an integral part of coordinating the partnership, strategy and media relations for the NASA x Foursquare partnership.

JESS3's TLD Visualization Featured in the Washington Post

As ICANN prepared to make a big Top Level Domain-related announcement in early 2011, JESS3 was commissioned by the Washington Post to bring a visual storytelling angle to the changing tides of domain names. The challenge was how to give an "out with the old, in with the new" feel. As the TLD story continues to unfold, JESS3's art is as relevant as ever. Notes Washington Post reporter Hayley Tsukayama: "The organization tasked with regulating the Web’s domain names — that’s everything to the right of the dot in a URL — released its list detailing who has applied for new Web suffixes Wednesday. Companies who applied for new addresses include Apple, Amazon, Google and Microsoft as well as prominent firms such as Macy’s, Wal-Mart and Tiffany. Each application cost the companies $185,000."

JESS3 Co-founder Leslie Bradshaw to Serve as U.S. Chamber Fellow

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation (NCF) announced JESS3's Co-founder, President & COO Leslie Bradshaw as a U.S. Chamber Fellow for 2012-2013. The prestigious program assembles experienced thought leaders and business professionals to aid in identifying emerging issues that will impact the business community within the next two to five years. Bradshaw’s areas of inquiry will be: Female entrepreneurship, millennial leadership and the impact of social technologies on the United States.

JESS3 Welcomes New Hires Simon Owens and Glenn Siegman
