Convention Hub

Working with our agency partner, NMS, JESS3 created the first-ever C-SPAN Republican National Convention Hub and Democratic National Convention Hub, tapping into C-SPAN’s rich video archives, leveraging Twitter’s then-nascent application programming interface (API) and heavily customizing WordPress backend development.

The sites provided users with up-to-date election information through videos, blogger coverage and instantaneous Twitter micro-conversation in a way that had never been done before. Declared “a great effort to spice up coverage” that “political nuts will definitely want to bookmark,” the sites garnered mentions from tech, media and political influencers like TechCrunch, Mashable, Firedoglake and National Review and inspired over 200 blog posts. Combined RNC and DNC Hub traffic data shows over 120,000 unique monthly visitors during the conventions.

Our co-founder Leslie Bradshaw was also an official C-SPAN social media correspondent, filing over a dozen on-air reports both spotlighting features on the Hub as well as top posts from bloggers and Twitter that captured the zeitgeist of the convention.

The History of SXSW

Partnering again with Eloqua, JESS3 has assembled some of the most interesting facts about the Austin-based festival since it came into existence some 25 years ago. The History of SXSW infographic also maps out the immense growth in attendance over the past few years of the music, film, and most recently, the interactive portions of South by South West.

Partnering again with Eloqua, an industry leader in marketing automation software, JESS3 designed a 33-slide presentation for a keynote speech at the 2012 Online Marketing Summit in California. Eloqua wanted an informative and detailed concept, “How to Generate Demand with Content Marketing,” to be displayed in a simplified, beautiful way.

Infographic Earns FastCo Press, Sheds Light on Poverty and Obesity Link

Originally created for CauseShift, the compelling JESS3 infographic gains traction, most recently being featured on Co.Exist. In an article titled, "Infographic: Untangling The Web Of Poverty, Obesity, And Food,"editor Morgan Clendaniel says , This new infographic, by Jess3 for CauseShift, attempts to draw some more concrete connections between poverty and obesity, and also highlights another concept: food insecurity." Comprised of data from states in the U.S., the infographic compares a state’s obesity rate, food assistance rate, poverty rate, and food insecurity level. The article digs in-depth into the data link laid out by the JESS3 inforgraphic.

Working closely with the NIKEiD's brand team, JESS3 adapted their award-winning builder to be seamlessly integrated into Facebook. The NIKEiD Zoom Kobe VI iD Facebook application produced more than 2,500 user-submitted designs within the first 36 hours.

Eloqua and JESS3 Show History of Innovative Disruptions

Eloqua partnered again with JESS3 to create an infographic celebrating the birth of disruptive innovations. The infographic launch coincides with a large company product announcement — Eloqua Engage for iPad, in which four “disruptions” converge: email, tablets, marketing automation and revenue performance management.
