The Mind of a Freelancer Infographic sees frontpage coverage from our friends over at Mashable. The infographic both celebrates and informs others about the freelance lifestyle, detailing the numerous benefits of being your own boss, but also illustrating some of the pitfalls. As Allegra Tepper writes in the Mashable article, "The study however concluded that overall, freelancers seem pretty happy with the career move." Another notable mention in the article as a reflection of the Mind of a Freelancer infographic was the longer a person freelances, the happier they are with the decision.

Samsung Smart Wall Featured by Fast Company

If you are the company you keep, then being mentioned along side Nike, GE and Chevy means you are doing something right. JESS3 could not be more proud to have helped contribute to this year's big win for Samsung at SXSW as the lead agency behind the design, development and curation of their #smartwall. We also loved that the Fast Company reporter Greg Fernestein clued in on Samsung and these brands as ones who have opted "for hands-on experiences and utility at SXSW" -- the new model of marketing that aims to empower, aid and co-create with consumers.

Looking to raise awareness about its efforts to empower women abroad, Estée Lauder approached JESS3 to help tell its story visually. Our team took on the challenge of producing two videos to raise awareness about Estée Lauder’s recent partnership with CARE International, an organization that helps women across the globe succeed economically.

Skillshare: Non-Traditional Education 2.0

JESS3 CEO and Founder, Jesse Thomas, had the chance to interview the Community Manager at Skillshare, a new startup focusing on education and sharing skills. Danya Cheskis-Gold gives insight into the philosophy behind Skillshare, and why and how people should use it. Alternative learning options like Skillshare are on the rise to supplement, or even replace, traditional education.

The newest in the partnership with C-SPAN and foursquare, JESS3 is proud to have helped coordinate the network's efforts to bring education and politics to the masses through the geosocial platform in the form of a dedicated foursquare C-SPAN badge. Designed by JESS3, this badge can be obtained by checking in to five pre-determined politically significant locations, mostly around the Washington, D.C. area.

Announcing The Samsung SXSWi Social Media Installation

Samsung, the world's largest electronics company, made a big entrance into South by Southwest Interactive (SXSWi) this year. The company tapped data visualization leader JESS3, to create a cutting-edge, real-time social media aggregation wall displaying the hottest panels, trending topics and locations, as well as photos and tweets.
